Both conditions have decreased blood flow to the area of the wound/ulcer and will take longer to heal. A 94 year old and a 72 year old male diabetic both took 8 weeks to do some healing and form enough granulation tissue (new blood vessels) in the wound to do skin grafts to the wound area. This is a general progress and cannot be taken as a promise or guarantee. Click here to email Dr. Swing any questions or comments you may have. |
